The Politics Of Dancing (vol. 27): (Music): Look wot you dun (to me)!

As we here in USA approach this MLK Day weekend, the first 2015 holiday and controversy rages over Oscar non-nomination of ‘Selma’, I enter the waters of contemporary entertainment commentary.
Paris-based Frederic Messent II has become a cross pond friend and music entertainment mentor, he being in and around the music ‘industry’ some 4 decades , enjoying the friendship and confidences of greats such as Marvin Gaye, Barry White, Isaac Hayes ,Frankie Knuckles and those still with us such as Tony Humphries, Louie Vega and Kevin Hedge of Blaze.Editor in Chief of Indamixworldwide(where i reside as one of the global selectors chosen by Fred), Monsieur Messent keeps a critical, independent and fresh perspective on the music ‘game’. A brilliant journalist and editor, I present here one of his most recent gems. All Good to you in 2015.
